Geelong midfielder Joel Selwood ($427,000) will miss the next four matches after failing to fight his striking charge on Brent Guerra ($373,900) from Saturday nights close win over the Hawks.
The match review panel found that Selwood intentionally struck Guerra leaving the Hawk with a perforated eardrum, classing the incident as a level five striking charge drawing 425 demerit points. The 23 year old could have taken a three match ban with an early guilty plea.
It comes at a bad time for Dreamteamers with midfielders Dane Swan ($397,700) and Scott Pendlebury ($437,000) also missing with a bye and Docker David Mundy ($341,800) injuring his leg.

If he had waited one more week to do it, I would have traded him straight to Pendles. Now I have a massive decision to make.

Check this out Craig, now they are saying it is debatable whether or not it was infact Selwood. I agree with the article..they really do need more fixed cameras.
